The Albatros by Lancelin is a high-performance rope. The load specified is the breaking load. Consider half of the working load.
Indeed, we recommend this rope for your halyards. Some elements to guide you:
First, you must define the approximate breaking load of your halyard (in kg):- Genoa surface x 80
– Main sail surface x 100
– Spinnaker surface x 30
For the length:
– Genoa = Mast length x 3
– Spi = Mast length x 3
– GV = Mast length x 2.5
The load specified is the breaking load. Consider half of the working load.
