Ready-to-use Standard mainsail halyard | Offshore Racing

Our Standard mainsail halyard is the result of Ino-Rope’s regatta experience. Without elongation, for fine tunings. It is fitted with a messenger line ending in order to facilitate the passage of the halyard through the mast.

To meet the requirements of intensive and continuous use during offshore racing, the Corderie Lancelin has developed a high-performance rope with a Dyneema core. The resistance and longevity of the modern fibres used enables the diameter to remain relatively small for control lines subjected to high tensile forces, during long racing periods.

Technical specifications:
  • Cover: 24-plait mixed continuous Polyester braid
  • Core: 12-plait Dyneema® SK78 coated and heat set and pre-stretched
Advantages:
  • Ready-to-use, easy to rig thanks to its messenger line ending
  • Ultra-fine tuning: thanks to its stabilised core (heat-stretched) which makes your control line perfectly resistant to elongation
  • Its cover offers high resistance to the toughest operating conditions on winches and rigging
  • Excellent holding in cleats
  • The messenger loop enables you to pass a messenger line through a mast or a boom safely
  • Dyneema® sheathed double braided sewn eye splice: protects from chafing and doubles lifespan, providing resistance and performance
Characteristics:
  • Rope with heat set and pre-stretched Dyneema SK78® core
  • Cover: Polyester
  • Dyneema® sheathed double braided sewn eye splice and messenger line ending
  • Supplied with either a captive textile shackle or stainless steel shackle
  • Various colours available
