Very easy to adjust under load, our spinnaker tack is ideal for long downwind runs without worrying about abrasion at the bowsprit, thanks to its Dyneema®-sheathed spliced end. It features a messenger loop for easy installation.
Rope:
To meet the demands of intensive, continuous use in ocean racing, Lancelin has developed a high-performance Rope with a Dyneema core. The strength and durability of the modern fibers used enable us to maintain a relatively small diameter for maneuvers that are subject to high stresses and prolonged racing.
Its advantages:
- Ready to sail, easy to install with its constrictor.
- Ultra-precise adjustments: thanks to its stabilized core (pre-stretched by heat), the Rope provides perfect resistance to the elongation of your manoeuvre.
- Its sheathing withstands the worst treatment on winches and in the rigging.
- Excellent blocking in cleats.
- Its spliced eye guarantees optimum strength at the end of the Rope (a chair knot reduces breaking load by 50%).
- The Dyneema® sheathing on this eye provides extra protection against chafing, sheave abrasion and other aggressive parts of your rig. Providing strength and performance, this material extends the life of your Ropes.
- Its messenger loop allows the Rope to be passed safely through a mast or boom with a messenger.
