Malizenn waterproof bag

This waterproof bag was born at the Scamba Saddlery workshop in Concarneau. Malizenn took up the challenge of recycling the workshop’s scraps and offcuts.

Malizenn’s approach is to create sustainable pieces while minimizing the environmental impact of its production: the end of rolls, leather, each little piece of fabric becomes precious. Existing materials are our wealth, and it’s up to us to transform them and offer you hand-crafted creations in limited editions.

Malizenn’s concept is to create durable items with minimal environmental impact. The first collection of bags is made up of textiles traditionally used in the boating industry (bimini, awning, coachroof…) but also in other sectors (mobile-home, automotive, furniture).

These materials have proven resistance and durability properties. We are developing collaborations with Breton companies such as Ino-Rope to recover unused materials and feed our creative projects.
