Description

Ready-to-use dockline with eye splice and chafe sleeve

Particularly flexible and lightweight our dockline with polyamide core and polyester for all types of boats (sail, motor…) perfectly meets the requirements of this important control line: safety, lifespan and shock-absorption capacity.

Due to its high quality construction (polyestercover and core made of polyamide), our dockline guarantees a high resistance to abrasion in cleats and fairleads while absorbing the movements of the boat (elasticity thanks to the polyamide elongation).

Finally, its lightness, even if wet, provides further comfort during your docking manoeuvres.

Ready-to-use:

  • Choice of rope length and diameter
  • 400, 500 or 600 mm splice depending on the rope diameter
  • Constrictor ending to finish the rope neatly
  • Optional chafe sleeve

Advantages:

  • Very supple
  • Pleasant handling
  • Eye splice for easy docking to the pontoon
  • Polyester chafe sleeve
  • Constrictor ending

A rope that is perfectly suited for use at the pontoon, at the dock or when you have to moor alongside another boat. Pleasant to handle and highly abrasion resistant.

Construction:

Fibres:

  • Polyamide: high elongation at break (from 15 to 20%). Its high elasticity makes it particularly suitable for mooring, as its fibres protect the cleats by absorbing shocks. A polyamide mooring line, on the other hand, is heavy to handle because this fibre is dense and absorbs water.
  • Polyester polyester: The main quality of polyester is its lifespan: high resistance to chafing. This characteristic also makes the ideal for protecting “delicate” cores: nearly all the covers on the market are either made of or contain polyester. Excellent value for money.
  • Chafe sleeve: tubular polyester webbing

How to choose the length of my dock lines:

We recommend that you have at least 4 dock lines on board your boat:

  • Bow and stern lines 2 lines of the length of your boat
  • Spring lines: 2 lines of the length of your boat (x 1.5)
