Description
A ready-to-use mooring line ideal for motorboats and sailboats.
Compared with polyester, polyamide mooring lines have a significantly higher elongation at break (15-20%). Its high elasticity makes it particularly suitable for mooring, as the fibers protect cleats by absorbing jolts.

If you’ve flopped because your friends already knew that polyamide is better known under the trade name Nylon ®, make up for it by pointing out that the word corresponds to the abbreviations for New York and Londonthe two factories of the American company Du Pont de Nemours, which discovered the fiber in the mid-1930s.
