Ready-to-use mainsail halyard for RM 890

Our standard mainsail halyard is specially designed for the RM 890. The choice of Ropes and the finishes we offer are specially designed for your extreme sailing conditions, combining lightness, sailing comfort and high resistance.

Technical specifications :

• Finished length 29 m
• Ropes with HMPE core and polyester sheath
• Diameter: 8 or 10 mm
• Top termination: Dyneema® double-braided splice
• Low termination: messenger bypass

What is HMPE:

HMPE literally stands for “Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene”. This pretty name designates the “generic” version of Dyneema®. Like Kleenex, Scotch or Frigos, Dyneema is a trade name, much sexier than ” high-modulus polyethylene “, the petroleum-based fiber it refers to.
